Trail conditions on pretty much all of the trail were good. Muddy in some spots but not too bad and no snow except the last maybe .1 of a mile on top with some rotting snow, but no equipment needed for it. On some of the steeper spots, runoff was coming down on rock slabs so had to watch footing but nothing caution couldn't handle.
Was my first time doing the hike and as the descriptions I had read said, it was very steep for pretty much most of the last 1.8 miles. Poles would help with the decent particularly but that is all that is needed. The views from the firetower, which is accessable, were awesome!!!
