Temps ranged from -5 to 4 degrees, sunny with no wind to speak of. Trail packed and microspikes worked, however, would have preferred snow shoes on the steep descent just before the A-Z trail junction. Tree with Avalon spur sign is down. Near perfect visibility at summit, not a cloud in the sky.
