Caribou trail, 3.5 mi:
Several brook crossings, all passable. Plenty of mud patches. Very rocky trail, slippery at times.
Caribou Mtn:
Summit was dry, clean, excellent views.
Mud Brook trail, 3.6 mi:
Lived up to it's name. Very muddy, steep descents coming off summit. Small brook crossings, one large blowdown at ~1 mi from trailhead. Passable. Could not find Caribou spring, which is supposed to be about 1/4 up the Mud Brook trail from the junction with the Caribou trail.
