Mt. Chocorua

I've never done Chocorua and since I'm in need of a mid-week work break, I'm interested in knowing if any of the trails (specifically Champney Brook, Piper, Liberty Brook) are better suited for our 4-legged friends. I'm inclined to go with Champney Brook and if I get an early enough start, to do the Beeline/Bolles loop.

I remember taking my dog up Champney without any trouble...rocky at the top, but should not pose a problem...

I've taken my dogs up Champney Falls as well as the Bolles/Beeline route and they did fine.

I will agree MEB. Chocura is a great mountain to climb, during mid-week.

Champney falls route is top notch, you will not be dissapointed, ps this is imo one of the best snowshoe routes in the Whites.

This mountain has become one of my favorites! The rocky top, Jim Liberty Cabin, easy accent, great views, ++++++. I love this mountain!

Have hiked up Champney Falls Tr 3 of the last 4 years to the summit of Chocorua and there are always plenty of people with dogs up and down this trail. So your 4 legged friend should have no trouble with this one. It's a great one for all to enjoy!
