Trails: John F Woodhouse Trail
Conditions: grassy/beautiful trail. It's not a 3K, so that helps!!!
Equipment: nothing special except bug juice
Comments: I followed the pointers to Steve Smith's blog's info on this peak. Nice little gem it is!!! Looks like there were some cellar hole(s) along the way. Nice wide pasture paths between stone walls. Interesting rock formations along Bald Knob. This peak is very prominant from across Newfound lake. Some people call the (left?) scar the "angel." The right scar was hard to get a good look at from top. LOTS of blueberries on the ledges. VERY nice hike and views for only a thousand feet of elevation gain.
