Parked at the end of Quinttown Road and the mosquitos were swarming at 7:15.
Kodak Trail was easy, dry with few blowdowns. Eastman Ledges had fine view to Smarts Mtn. Checked out Hexacube Shelter, where I woke a hiker. The north summit spur was mostly easy to follow.
The Cross Rivendell trail down to Baker Road was one of the nicest trails I've hiked in the Whites. Liberal use of switchbacks, dirt tread way, stepping stones where needed down low. Turned left on Baker Road to complete the loop. There are side roads, but keeping as straight as possible returns you to Quinttown. Saw a total of six people and three dogs.
