The 3 washout crossings ( south Gale River loop road), snow bridges fairly intact, water is shallow.
Trail has some icy spots before river crossings.
The three trail river crossings snow bridges in tact.
Trail is in O.K. shape. Some Post hole damage on upper third of trail.
I bare booted without postholing till Garfield Ridge jct. Then shoed from there.
snowshoed down till after trail river crossings.
Snow Conditions: Sticky Ice in morning. Sticky slush in afternoon.
Summit had some snow but mostly bear. Clear but hazy. Warm sun. Light wind.
Comments: With this warm spell this trail will probably be in rougher shape, with lots of deep snow still to melt.
