Hiked Crawford Path to Mizpah Cut-off then Webster Jackson Trail to Jackson's summit. Returned via Jackson Brook trail.
Crawford path packed well as always. Mispah cut-off had some blowdown and required snowshoes at one point. Webster Jackson trail from Hut to Jackson summit has numerous blowdowns and quite a few reroutes. About halfway across the 1.7 mile stretch the going became tricky with some dead end routes created by somewhat lost souls. Some bushwacking required and a hit a few shallow spruce traps.
Snowshoes from Mizpah to Jackson recommended at this point until it becomes packed. Jackson Brook trail is in fine shape and perfectly packed requiring only the traction of your choice.
Near Mizpah, met up with Jack from SubSig, had lunch next to the hut and finished the hike with him.
VFTT of Jackson were great today. Washington was clear while the rest of the Southern Prezi range was mostly clouded over. trip time: 6.0 hrs
