Mt. Jackson via Webster Jackson Trail
Date of Hike: Monday, April 20, 2009
Trail Conditions: Spring snow, mud, ice
Special Equipment Required: Light traction
Comments:
From 302 to Bugle Cliff, mostly snow monorail, with some extended patches of mud and blue ice.
From Bugle Cliff to the Webster-Jackson split, mostly monorail. Water crossing still bridged, but becoming quite thin. Decent sized annoying blowdown.
Webster Jackson Trail from split to Mt. Jackson - monorail hasn't quite emerged from the snowpack, but you can see where it will. Water crossings still bridged. Ledges near summit bare. A few minor blowdowns.
