Date of Hike: 08/14/2010
Trail Conditions: Van H trail in great shape, a few small mud puddles as expected for the ADK's. Beaver activity on the way to Marcy Dam was busy, wooden bridge barely above water, a day of heavy rain or a couple of heavy T-storms would likely put parts of the bridge underwater. Did loop on Mt. Jo, all in good shape
Special Equipment Required: camera, at higher elvations something for the wind.
Comments: Optional - After Cascade yesterday Nicholas wanted to go again so girls did shopping in LP. We had one car so we had to fill in the available time with some fairly easy hiking. Nicholas was a little slow to the dam but once we headed uphill & I had his fanny pack strapped to my pack, he had to keep waiting for me.
