Trail started out bare, wet, with intermittent snow/ice patches (the first mile was quite bare by late afternoon). Snow was prevalent at 1600' and about 3-4 inches of snow covered the trail all the way to the top (well trampled). One snarky right turn close to the top is quite icy but with a walk around. Two blowdowns on the trail, hop-overs.
Special equipment needed: Microspikes. Several on the trail changed into Hillsounds Pros for the hike down.
Nice day, great views.
