Trail Conditions: Airline on the ascent was damp, very little mud, and in great shape compared to many other trails in the Whites these days. Valley Way was fine most of the way. A little muddy but passable in the last 1 mile at the bottom.
Special Equipment Required: None.
Comments: Intermittent clouds and sun around the summits of Madision and Adams. Dramatic views into King Ravine, Madison Gulf and the Great Gulf. The surprise of the day was the fine view of the Wildcats from Madiion. Great day for a hike!
