Date of hike: 2-15-10
Conditions: Trail totally packed out and solid with a dusting of new snow near the bottom and a couple inches new nearer the top. Snow a little deeper in a couple sections near the ledges where there was some blowing/drifting. Summit was bare and dry.
Special equipment: Snowshoes worked well but not needed. Some traction very useful on the steeper sections. One of us wore snowshoes from about halfway in, the other used crampons. Both were fine, as was barebooting the first half.
Comments: Windy and cold at the top but well worth it as the views were incredible.
