Mt Moriah via Carter-Moriah Trail
Date of Hike: May 22
Trail Conditions: The last stretch of steep trail before the summit was still snowy and a little icy. No real way to go around it and we just plodded through it.
Special Equipment Required: Hiking pole was useful navigating the few snowy and icy sections, but not necessarily needed. A necessity was bug spray though, they were out and very hungry!
Comments: A great little hike with some beautiful views. It was very cloudy and the Presidentials were socked in with cloud cover, but we still had a fine few of the Carter Range. This was my friends first 4000 Footer for the year!
