Date of Hike: 8/15/09
Trail Conditions: Mostly dry, with a little mud between Mt Surprise and Mt Moriah. Nothing unusual for the Whites. Also, the logs used on the path in this area have pretty much been worn down and need replacing. There isn't much left to keep you out of the mud. One slip and my wife put her whole boot in the mud.
Special Equipment Required: Bug spray, the normal summer gear.
Comments: Great hike, great day. A bit hot, but had nice views 360 degrees at the top. 19 peaks left.
