Crusty snow mostly, a little bit of ice, and in the middle section essentially a small flowing brook. Traction gear useful, microspikes or stabilicers best, snowshoes with traction doable but likely overkill and noisy and clumsy in the brook sections; bare boots also doable. Some white birch branches in the trail in the upper sections with one easily navigated blowdown. Nice views of course for an easy hike with the little dog.
