Trails: Andrew Brook Trail to Lake Solitude, then on to summit.
Conditions: Quite a number of blowdowns below Lake Solitude. The trail was usually visible enough to follow and for the most part we didn't have to get off the trail too often. The obstacle were mostly fallen trees rather than smaller branches and limbs, so there wasn't much we could do to clear the pathway.
Comments: The ski area was open and we received a lot of strange looks as we made our way up the last section, staying far to the edge of the maintained ski trails. We had my son's dog, Penny, with us, so didn't enter the lodge for hot chocolate as usual.
