Saturday being a wash-out, it was the perfect time for a quick hop up Mt. Tecumseh via the Mt. Tecumseh trail.
Only one other vehicle in the parking lot when I arrived just after 10am. Turned out that truck belonged to our very own Rocket21, who was doing trail maintenance work on the trail, all alone, the in rain. I am very grateful to those who do that backbreaking work, let alone in the rain! (Passed two other couples, both with dogs, and a group of very unhappy looking high school kids on my way down, when it was raining quite hard).
The trail is in beautiful condition, including both sides of the loop at the summit.
