Trail well packed up to split of Avalon with the A-Z trail. I barebooted up to that point and put snowshoes on to break the A-Z trail and the Tom spur trail to reach Tom, and did the return leg on them. One bend under on Avalon and a few wet spots. Two stream crossings were a bit tricky mostly because of my own stupidity and the only one who paid was Pepper. But he's a mighty tough little dog and he wasn't fazed by getting wet, let alone all the trail breaking despite his size. The crossings should be easier now because the false snow bridges are gone. The Willey Ridge trail from Tom towards Field was unbroken. The Avalon trail from the A-Z looked to be pretty well broken. As usual, it's a great day when I get away from the computers out on the trail with the little dog.
