Knowing that Mt Wachusett is a local favorite for some of us I thought I'd post a sign from the old Admin Road trailhead I saw on Sunday:
DCR is looking for volunteers to do trail maintenance on 7/17, 8/20 and 9/18. Contacts are listed as Dwayne Ericson 978-464-2987 and Don Hoffses 978-869-0062.
As a side note, I saw a family of fishers near Wachusett while driving early Sunday. They crossed the road in front of me just before Fernside Inn. I'm guessing it was a family because there were two larger and several (3-5) smaller.
