Mt Washington 148 Year Celebration

Take this as a notice of fun or warning- I heard on the radio and confirmed on the Auto Road website that Saturday August 8 if you drive up the auto Road and have an "This car climbed Mt. Washinton" sticker on the car already you get free passage on the road.

Good for consumers, but could be a bit extra crowded on the summit as a result. Especially with a nice looking day coming. If you don't enjoy that you may want to go elsewhere.

Whatever you do, where ever you go, enjoy......

Coincidentally, this Saturday is also the 153,000 year anniversary of the creation of Mt. Washington as it stands today. So, if you are wearing a "This Body Climbed Mt. Washington" shirt, or not, walking up is still free.
