Clear day for a hike. It was a nice brisk 5 degrees on the trail. There were three icy areas where crampons should have been worn. Without them it was very slow going in these areas. There is no Mt. Wright trail sign. Just after leaving the Algonquin trail for Mt Wright, snow shoes or crampons are needed. A lot of bare rock once you leave the tree line, so removing crampons will make the last bit to the summit easier. It was very windy this day but the views were clear and fantastic! My temperature gauge is an LCD and it was unreadable at the top.
