Trail is a thin crust over a few inches of snow - below is hardpack. I barebooted to the base of the slide. All Flume Brook crossings are open water, but easy.
Specail Equipment: Crampons, ice axe usefull on the steep.
Only one person had used the trail since the crust formed. I lost the trail, followed another older track and came to the base of slide. I blocked that wrong turn with a few branches. Cross the brook again to avoid. I don't know if the ridge is broken out to Liberty - I had too much fun climbing the slide.
