N.e. # 74

Yesterday I hike Old Speck Mtn in Maine with my two kids. We leave
Montreal Friday afternoon, and camp at Umbagog state park in NH.
saturday morning it was cold and we where in the fog at the camp
groud. I drive to the amc parking lots at we had a good view of the
Old speck mtn. It took us close to 4hr to reach the summit. At the
summit my 10 year old dougther went 3 times at the top of the fire
tower and my son(9 year old) went one time.After lunch we start to hike down, the kids where tired but we where ok. The blueberries was very good
and we find a lot near the trail. We finish at 4:30 pm.
Now I had summit 74 of the NE 115 this year so far and I try to finish
all of the 41 remaining before the end of december.

Wow! That would be mighty impressive! But having hiked with you, I'll bet you can make it!

Lâche pas Réjean. Je te souhaite sincèrement de réussir dans ton objectif et considère cela comme un camp d'entraînement pour notre raid sur les 48 Whites cet hiver. Au plaisir de nous retrouver sur Moosilauke avec nos enfants à la fin oct. avec de la neige!

Sorry, had to throw in the only French I knew. Seriously, that is an amazing amount of peaks in a single year. Good luck with finishing!
