12/18/08 Thursday: Mt. Kinsman Trail has no major ice storm damage and only a couple of step over blowdowns..ice under the 2 or 3 inches of snow down low, drifting up higher to maybe 8 to 10 inches in places...Kinsman Ridge Trail also drifted; ice on the ledges and rocks til the summit of N..looks like things will change..minor views today ice clouds mainly, until later this PM at least to the west and north... used MSRs up and back; saw no one but there was a person ahead on KRT with crampons...regards, milanmilker
