Date of Hike:6/27/09
Trail Conditions: Wet, some mud
Special Equipment Required: Bug Repellent
Comments: - Did the traditional hike from the Hairpin at the Kanc. The trails in general including the climbs up both Hancocks were in far better shape than expected. A couple of mud pits on the ridge between the summits, but plenty of opportunities to wash of the shoes in the many stream crossings. We started at 8 and saw few people until we got to North Hancock, there was a steady line of folks heading up to do the loop clockwise as we got to the summit and were heading down. The day was far sunnier than expected. Saw one of the early VFTT'er along the way
