Trail is in fine shape up to and just past Nancy Cascades. Stream crossings required some careful rock hopping so as not to get wet. Help from trekking poles would have been nice. Once up past the steep section the trail became pretty wet and muddy and the bog bridges weren't always helpful, especially between Nancy and Norcross ponds. The bugs were pretty brutal but not killer. It was a beautiful hike. Nancy Cascades is quite the sight, as is the view across and out from Norcross Pond into the Pemi!
