Date of Hike:2/25
Trail Conditions: The track could not have been smoother had someone brought a snow-blower up there. Hard crunchy snow all the way. There were a couple of pesky downed tree limbs that need to be climbed over or ducked under but nothing major.
Special Equipment Required: I wore snow shoes car to car but could easily have gotten away with Microspikes.
I had terrific luck since I intended to hike Sabbaday Brook in and out. However, I ran into another hiker on the summit of Middle Tripyramid who offered me a ride from the Pine Bend trail head to where I parked. So I got to hike out Pine Bend and avoided having to backtrack from the north peak (saving me 1/2 a mile) and I got to do a loop and experience a new trail.
