Kinsmans and canon via fish n jimmy, hi cannon et al
We found it was barebootable hard frozen snow to the lake. We crossed the lake though I suspect officially it's not recommended. Microspikes were helpful to get up to the ridge and between the kinsmans. Snowshoes needed on the cannonballs--uncolsolidated crusty snow with plenty of blowdowns. We barebooted down hi cannon without issue though there is a lot of icy frozen snow.
hancocks
The trail was pretty well packed so only microspikes were needed. Lots of sloppy sections due to the runoff/high water the other day. The crossing were elevated slightly but we managed only wet boots.
