The trail was extremely muddy and wet from the parking lot all the way to the top of the mountain. We bypassed the first two river crossings. The third river crossing was impassable and very dangerous with high flowing water. We had to shimmy across a fallen tree which is not recommended. The last two miles was equivalent to hiking up a small tributary and the last section of trail is badly overgrown. On the way down we bushwacked down the west side of the river to avoid going back over the fallen tree. It was a very tough bushwack with hobblebush, dense evergreens and several steep stream crossings. We finally hit the official trail and made our way to the first river crossing and waded across with our boots on. Overall a very difficult hike with the present conditions.
