Trail Conditions:
7 Dwarves-snowmobile trail-Haystack Road route, bypassing first two crossings.
Unbroken the whole way (including Haystack road.) Now packed out by 11 pairs of snowshoes up to around 4500', 8 pair after that. 3rd Little River crossing has solid ice bridge, but ice elsewhere is not solid enough to avoid steep parts of bushwhack. Broken path is somewhat off-trail up high, beware.
Special equipment:
Snowshoes were required, possibly still are. Very powdery just below "treeline." Once attaining the ridge at 4500', trail is almost entirely exposed...used almost full above-treeline gear (but some went without goggles.)
