A group of 11 broke out the N. Twin Trail to about 4000 ft, with seven continuing on to the summit, where sign at boot level. Not enough energy or time for trip over to S. Twin. Used the bushwhack route on east side between first and second crossings, although got a little too high up on Fire Warden's Trail in one spot. Third crossing was well frozen. A few blow downs, but only one required crawling under. Sporadic but spectacular views from summit ridge.
Snowshoes needed, but not crampons or other traction devices.
Thanks for invitation from the "Wednesday" group, although this hike happened on Thursday, February 14th, to exploit the nicer weather.
