Nov 17: East Osceola & Osceola (from the Kanc)

Leaving Boston around 7:30 AM, should hit the trail around 10:00, intend to return to car by dark.

Note: the _WMG_ describes this route as "difficult" and "extremely steep." Bring traction.

Not a bad hike indeed: I'd compare it to the climb up South Twin from Galehead hut for steepness and roughness. Couple of wet gullies I expect would get interesting when iced over, but were no problem this day. The viewpoint slab might be intimidating to novices, but there's no real exposure. I turned around before the Chimney, next time I'll carry a lighter pack (and be in better shape).
