Adirondack International Mountainfest 2009 is Jan 16 to Jan 18 (and a half day on the 19th for the Avi cert). This is coming up fast. I hope they have ice. This event seems like it has more going on than the Catskills event; free demos on an ice wall, VFD Dinner, Movies, Avi Cert Course, etc.
None of the courses for either event are cheap, but they might be worthwhile.
