On Sunday morning, I left Sherpa John and Sherpette at camp to enjoy a second consecutive day of perfect weather. I started from Tripoli Road on the Mt. Osceola Trail. I made good time on the lower section. I continued past the switchbacks and finally made it to the top. I like how the trail opens up to the Mt. Osceola peak. I had a better view of the tripyriamids on this hike than I did when I climbed the tripyramids! I met with a group of peakbaggers who were eating a snack before heading down.

I decided to rush my first break and head over to East Osceola. The Chimney was, well, the chimney. I followed Sherpa John's advice and stayed to the left side on the way over and the right side on the way back. What I liked most about the east mountain was... nevermind.

I got back to the main mountain and enjoyed a beautiful view and my sub. I had a wonderful conversation with a father and son group as well as a group from Scotland. Relunctantly, I began heading down. As soon as I left the summit, I met a group of ladies who gave me some nice recommendations on future hikes. I saw a few more groups of people before finally making it to the bottom.

Having great weather, meeting nice people, and seeing a spectacular view was not too shabby for a Sunday hike. I had a wonderful weekend of hiking and am looking forward to going back!
