Tripoli rd is still closed, so the 3 of us biked up from the Waterville side to the trail head. Easy water crossings. Needed snowshoes for the last 500' of vertical. The snow was patchy and rotten, so rotten that even with shoes we would post-hole in places. No blow downs, no bugs. A very nice afternoon. I suspect in 2 weeks if the weather is the same that the snow will be almost gone.
