Took Greeley Pond Trail from the Kanc end to Livermore. No snow, trail wet but easily passable. From the pond to Livermore the trail was wide and dry, no bugs in the morning. Then Tripoli Road (gate is closed at the Livermore end, but open in the middle near Mount Osceola Trail), which was bone dry...no more snow here.
The Mount Osceola trail was mostly dry and clear of snow...a tiny bit of the monorail remains at the very top of Osceola (last 200 yards), but is easily skirted. No need for traction of any kind here. The summit and view trail to the West is deep soft snow. The East view (large rocky area) is snow free. The saddle between Osceola and East Osceola has significant monorail remaining, which is narrow and soft in spots. Snowshoes were not needed. The Chimney was snow free, but wet and somewhat slippery. Gaiters were useful to deal with the shin deep postholing and soft snow.
The summit of East Osceola is free of snow and the small view spots are open. The trail down from the summit is soft narrrow monorail, but not very deep. Snowshoes are not needed, but microspikes for the steeps and the icy spots were very useful. Some spots of bare ground exist high up. The snow is not gone from the trail until the trail is well down below the East Spur cliffs. The lower trail is fairly wet, but not slippery.
