My brother-in-law told me about this company. www.questoutfitters.com I don't think it's been mentioned here before.

They sell a wide range of outdoor, "performance" fabrics such as Polartech™, Gore-Tex®, Extreme®, Powerdry™, Dryskin®, Thinsulate™, Primaloft®, nylon, silnylon, and various meshes. They also carry webbing, elastic, cording, zippers, buckles and fasteners. There are many patterns available for clothing and gear for anyone wanting to make their own stuff, as well.

Standard disclaimer: I have no connection to this company and have never done business with them. My b-i-l says they're good to deal with, though.

Re. Quest: I've bought a lot from Quest and have had excellent experiences every time - SUPER fast shipping, they even let me exchange a remnant when i detested the color. Highly, highly recommend.

Mind if I add another Dry Goods Seller..... I have had excellent service with Outdoor Wilderness Fabric. They get a lot of raves on Whiteblaze (the AT Site), which is how I "discovered" them.
I am lucky as my wife sews, she likes to do a lot of various projects.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Quest by phone, mail, and email. Fabrics, fittings, etc. Owfinc is also very good, some additional selection.
