Bushwacked N from Black Pond with Cheryl to the other side of the second water crossing, which was low on Saturday. Many mosquitoes in the woods, so we ran thru to the trail in about an hour. Headed up to 2100 ft where we setup camp and rested for a couple of hours. Meandered across two rather sketchy water crossings up to the beginning of the slide but then it was 7:30 so we headed back to camp. Lightening and thunder over night, but the tent was dry
Decided not to try the slide in the rain the next day so we headed back to the same spot and decided to bushwack all the way back to Lincoln Brook trail since Hannah the doggy is too short too cross. Fabulous and hilarious adventureful weekend, will head back again shortly! Serious mud, used gators and a pole each.
