Tough but doable. Used Black Pond Bushwack to avoid larger crossings. Remaining three crossings required wading and some boulder hopping but were not at dangerous levels. On and off rail to slide. Slide bare but very wet. Snowshoes needed from top of slide. Followed rail to large blowdown area at approx 3650 ft. Then bushwacked to ridge in moderate spruce. Once on ridge an easy snowshoe to old and new summits.
Long day in rainy conditions. Just under 12 hours total.
Special thanks to Marchowes for the warm fire and checking for us at Lincoln Woods when the hour got late.
