Looking at doing Owl's Head sometime the week of 12/25-12/31/05. Probably will do the Black Pond Bushwack. What day works for People?

Galehead-Owls Head traverse

I and at least one other are looking to try a one-day traverse over Galehead and Owls Head in that time frame. Will need a car spot, so I would like to leave my car at Five Corners and hike north to south, and then a day or two later try a south to north traverse over the Franconia's and Garfield to retrieve my car.
