Trailgator, Snowpacker and I camped near Bradley pond lean-to.
Weather great, no bugs. Lots of mud on trail but noticeably trying to dry out. Trail to Panther in good conditions. Found new trail from Santanoni down only because a hiker coming up that trail said the entry point had a stone on a stump. After walking through a short distance of shrubs the trail does open up. Trail steep but doable with great views. Found a very steep rock with a slim rope which we easily avoided by following another herd trail. Swamp on bottom destroying the trail. Was able to follow the edge of the water on right with no problem getting back to trail. Someone placed orange ribbons in a few spots which helped.
Short or light gaitors recommended.
Had a great time,
