Parking for Garfield Trail

Does the trailhead of the Garfield Trail (on Gale River Loop Road) have one of those metal tubes to throw money into for parking?

Yes, it is a fee pay site with a tube

Thanks, Bill. Those pay tubes are very convenient... Not just for me, so I don't have to drive around looking for a ranger station to buy a parking pass, but also for car theives who want to know how long I'll be away from my car .

Yeah, I know...get a year-long pass.

FYI there is a ranger station within 5 minutes of The Garfield trailhead.
