Trail from Thirteenth Lake to the summit was in generally good condition, although muddy in spots (inevitable given all the rain). The ADK trail guide mentions three vleis on the trail to the pond. By the third vlei, the trail appears to be overgrown and is tough to locate. By examining the ground, you'll be able to locate the wear indications of where the trail is, even though the plants practically obscure the trail at eye level. Once past this point, the trail becomes easier to follow again.
