Pemi XC Ski Traverse Conditions?

Does anybody know if the middle sections of the pemi are broken out for a ski traverse? I haven't seen any recent info. We are thinking about a Zealand->Lincoln Woods traverse next Saturday probably via Shoal Pond. THANKS!!!! --Becca

Hey,

We were in there this weekend, and it is broken, momentarily, from Zealand to Thoreau Falls (and on to Ethan Pond). Can't comment south of there.

Dunno, but we will be breaking out the route via Shoal Pond on the 28th if you do not get to it first.

Based on the expected snow, we're leaning towards an out and back from Lincoln Woods up to the Shoal Pond area. I'm hoping we'll get as far as Thoreau Falls. I'll post a trip report if we get beyond the greater Lincoln Woods metropolitan area!!! --Becca
