Perfect day for a hike, bugs were not bad until the early afternoon. Trail was in good condition with just a patch of mud at the start. Trail does not seem to really be used that much. More than worth the extra drive time. We saw six people but everybody was real positive. The pull rope needs to be replaced, it may not make it through the summer. Good boots are needed for the summit just a little scramble where traction is needed while on an all rock surface. A little plane buzzed over our heads and surprised us but at least we took a picture.
note: when going up Nash Stream Road take a right at the "T". The sign there is confusing. Check out pics for some views.
