Got an early start out of the Loj, with a few snow flurries falling and cloud level around 3000'. Trails were in good shape, packed snow, with a couple of inches of fresh powder on top, from the Loj to the summit. Had snowshoes but stuck with microspikes for traction on the Phelps trail to handle the ice and steep sections. Overall still not much snow base on the ground, and continued my streak of snowy/clouded views from the summits this winter. Temps were great, and little wind.
