See my next post for answer.
How about petting farms...Chip said:You are incorrect sir. These are local deer in an open field near my home, the area they are crossing is a gas line easement that runs south through CT. There are no farms for food as deer meat is not legal, and if there were a farm for sport, I'd belong as my local sportsman club just folded this past year.
Do you really think I have the time or inclination to make things like this up here ?

For Example
Where were you Mavs? Those deer wre discussed in an earlier thread. They are not albinos, they are white whitetailed deer. There is a difference though they both are white.mavs00 said:I live in Western NY and used to regularly fish in Seneca Lake. I would drive past the Seneca Army Depot (SAD) every weekend for a few years in the late 80's early 90's.
What the hell does this have to do with this thread. Well inside the fences of the old SAD, resides one of the largest herds of Albino deer in the country. We would regularly see them along the fence as dawn and dusk. There were about 2-3 Albinos for every "normal" one. It was wierd at first, but after awhile, it just was.
Awesome shot-ALBINO DEER-

The report says the white deer were protected while the normally colored ones were mangaged through hunting. In other words, they applied selective breeding to maintain the white deer herd...mavs00 said:What the hell does this have to do with this thread.
