Conditions: Trail is very wet in places with several mudholes, only two boot suckers though, and is actually in a stream bed several times. Below Howker Ridge it has recently been blazed and brushed, above, it has been a while (no blazes seen, and needs brushing). Enough small cairns above tree line to follow in the foggy conditions encountered, with care. A couple of step over blow downs, one leaning near the trail with all of it's branches sticking into the trail.

Comments: A fun and wild day above treeline in the northern Presidentials! Great views once the clouds cleared on the way down.
