It's been a very busy hiking weekend, this one being onlt one of four trip reports I need to write.
Well there's not much to tell here. We came in from the NNE thankfull to some very generous land owners and climbed this final peak for us in the Sentinal Range. The woods were very open for the short amount of time we were in them, numerous signs of past logging littered the ground. We were soon on an old woods road that brought us to state land and practically to the summit of Pine.
Once on state land the woods road became very hard to follow in spots, and became very wet underfoot. But that didn't matter much, the woods were very open woods. We first climbed the lower summit, to take in the wide views along the open ridge. But soon descended slightly to the col and climbed the short distance to the true wooded summit.
Fun little short afternoon hike. Like I said not much to write on here.
